Now that I am back from my little vacation, it is time to return to buisness. I Have added you people that gave me your screen names to my buddy list. My screen name is IamRANDAN. If you wish to talk to me, feel free. I dont have much to say right now. Ill leave you with something to consider.

Hypocrisy; The Spook at the Door of Acceptance

Awakening is acceptance. The two cannot be separated. We say that we accept the world but that is a lie of words, because we do not even accept ourselves; our own hypocrisy. We do not care! This must be acknowledged and accepted. Why go on behaving like hypocrites. Admit it. We don’t care if children are molested or go hungry. We don’t care about wars. We don’t care about genocide. We say we do, but this is a world of things and the manifestation of a thing is borne out in its action—and our active behavior says we don’t care.

Are these words offensive to you? If they are, why? It is true. We have reactions to the atrocities of the world but then we go and cause new ones. We see entire nations starving, and we claim our heart aches. But within days, many of us will look at a retirement portfolio and demand that our investments, in the same companies that exploit the starving children, continue to grow. We as individuals own the institutions that perpetrate the abuses that we claim cause us so much pain. However, our pain is not strong enough to force us to withdraw from our own interests.

There is more, Hitler. We say that he was a devil, a scourge of humanity. This may be true, but what does it say about the rest of the people of that time. Hitler was not different in the thoughts that he entertained. He was symbolic of many men of their time and he was representative of a prevailing dislike for Jewish people. But we hate Hitler because he broke the unspoken rule, which is “SShhhh! I am a hypocrite but don’t tell anybody.” But Hitler told the world. He brought the whole world out of the closet and we hate him for it. He showed us we were murderers. He showed us we hated Jews and that we were greedy. He even went so far as to enlist the aid of upstanding middle class citizens, children, and every day people to do his dirty deeds. That was the mightiest of his blows, to show the world how close the civilized person is to barbarity. You see we were not ready to come out of the closet and we hate Hitler for it.

There is so much more to this, however, i will not bore you with that. This is just something to entertain and for you to think about. That is it for now. Farewell.

Theres more i think i should clear up. The thing about the high school kid not being able to come up with the writings of Randan. Its not that hard. All you need is imagination, some general knowledge of buddhism and its teachings, and someone to who got a masters degree from Xavier University in Literature Composition. Thats something that any high school kid that puts his mind to it can do. Second of all. The company. You know, it doesnt take much to own a company. Especially not a publishing company that specializes in nothing more than their own books. I thought you might know something about that Nick. It takes nothing more than free time, the right connections, and a P.O. box to have a publishing company. It can be run out of a house even.

I think that you are getting away from your original goal. The Writings are just ways for me to get my creative side out and keep me sane. Its not the easiest way to get to my identity, which if i am correct, was your original mission. There are other ways my friends. Maybe you're just not asking the right questions.

Let me put some theories and hypothesis' to rest. Yes Randan is just a character. Yet he is more than a character. I am Randan. But i am only half of him. I am the brain behind him. I say those poems are mine because they are. The lessons you learn and the messages delivered are mine. The other half of Randan is my long time friend who puts all of the Lessons into a more enjoyable form of reading. He is the poetic side behind Randan. Randan is just our alter egos that come together to form this character. I say he exists in the land of no-thing. Because he does exist, he just not is something you can touch. However, his lessons are. I am holding the hard copies of the writings as i type this. Randan is most definitly alive, however, he does not exist in the physical world. Did that help?
